PHYSICAL OR MENTAL HANDICAP, race, color, creed, sex,
age, or national origin and shall take all necessary
steps to effectuate the provisions and intent of this
Code of Fair Practices. (B) The Secretary OR OTHER CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
of each department in the Executive Branch shall
[designate] APPOINT an Assistant Secretary or some other
employee of his department of equal stature, as Fair
Practices Officer- The Fair Practices Officer, as part
of his [other] duties, shall be charged with the
enforcement of this Code, AND THE AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PLAN
ADOPTED PURSUANT TO ARTICLE I (C) OF THIS CODE, within
the department, including but not limited to the
development and conduct of plans, programs, and policies
to establish and promote non-discriminatory employment
and personnel policies within the department. THE
DEPARTMENTAL FAIR PRACTICES OFFICER SHALL COOPERATE AND
COORDINATE HIS ACTIVITIES WITH THE EQUAL EMPLOYMENT
OPPORTUNITY COORDINATOR. ARTICLE X ANNUAL REPORTS Each department of the Executive Branch, and each
agency not included within a department shall report
annually to the Governor, [between December 15 and] BY
January 1, all activities undertaken in the past year to
effectuate this Code of Fair Practices. The report shall
cover both internal personnel practices and external
relationships with other State agencies. A copy of each
report shall be furnished the Maryland Commission on
Human Relations AND THE EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
COORDINATOR. ARTICLE XI PUBLICATION OF CODE OF FAIR PRACTICES Copies of the Code shall be distributed to all State
officials and employees and copies shall be posted in
conspicuous locations in all State facilities.
PROCLAMATION OF JULY 19, 1976 NOTICE OF REINSTATEMENT OF FIRST FIDELITY
SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION, INC. WHEREAS, the State Department of Assessments and Taxation
has certified to me that through an oversight in
their office the name FIRST FIDELITY SAVINGS AND
LOAN ASSOCIATION, INC. was included in the 1975 list
of delinquent corporations, and was advertised for
non-compliance with Article 81, Section 204(a),
