       Rever.d John Harris of the County and Province last
       Mentioned Clerk of the third part   Witnesseth that the
       said Mills Shankland for the Docking Barring and Cutting of
       all Estates Tail and Remainders in Tail of and in the Messuages
       Tenements Lands and Hereditaments herein after mentioned and for
       the setling and assuring the same to and for the uses intents and
       purposes herein after limited expressed and Declared and in considerat.n
       of five shillings to him in hand paid by the said George Layfield
       the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and for divers other good
       causes and considerations him the said Mills Shankland in
       this behalf moving Hath granted bargained sold released and
       confirmed and by these presents Doth grant, bargain
       and sell, release and confirm unto the said George Layfield
       and to his Heirs and Assigns for ever   All that part
       or parcel of a certain Tract of Land ^called^ Thrumcapfield
       situate lying and being formerly in Somerset County but
       now in the said county of Worcester on the south side of
       Pocomoke River on a Branch called and known by the
       Name of the unpapable Branch bounded and limited as
       follows, to Wit, Beginning at a marked Mul Berry
       post being the original Bounder of the said Tract standing
       on the North side of the south Prong of the said Unppapable Branch
       thence Running south east Two hundred poles thence East
       fourteen poles, thence North thirty seven degrees East, one
       hundred and sixteen Poles, thence North thirty one degrees
       West twenty poles, thence North West One hundred
