end Bill No. 72-73 was introduced on December 18, 1973;
and
WHEREAS, Testimony at the February 19, 1974 public
hearing on Bill No. 72—73 supported the need for
extending the Landlord—Tenant Relations Law to cover
mobile homes and mobile home space, said testimony from
representatives of mobile home park owners indicating
that there exist few vacancies and large waiting lists
for space in mobile home parks; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL FOR MONTGOMERY
COUNTY, MARYLAND, That the Council considers it necessary
and proper for mobile homes and mobile home spaces to be
included within coverage of the Montgomery County "Fair
Landlord—Tenant Relations Law", except that leases for
mobile homes or mobile home spaces in the County shall
not be required to be offered for a period of two-years,
nor shall such leases be required to contain a provision
requiring the subletting of mobile homes or mobile home
space with the written approval of the landlord. To this
extent the Council has enacted on the date legislative
bill 72-73.

Subject: Amendments to Rehabilitation Loan Fund
Resolution No. 6—2116.
WHEREAS, the County Council has authorized the
establishment of a Rehabilitation Loan Fund for
Montgomery County by Bill No. 1-68 enacted during its
December Legislative Session of 1968; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 6-2116, adopted on May
27, 1969, the County Council has adopted Policies and
Procedures for implementing the Rehabilitation Loan Fund;
and
WHEREAS, the County Council of Montgomery County,
Maryland, wishes to provide low-interest loans to
qualified homeowners for rehabilitation activities and to
make such loans at interest rates which will permit the
homeowner to afford the cost; and
WHEREAS, the County Council recognizes the
uncertainty, both of funding levels and time constraints,
of similar rehabilitation loan programs sponsored by the
Federal government for homeowners within Federally
