title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Enforcement," to exclude
the sheriff, constables and bailiffs of Baltimore County from the
provisions of this section.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 187 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Enforce-
ment," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

187.

It shall be the duty of the various State's attorneys, sheriffs,
constables, bailiffs, police and other prosecuting and peace officers
of every sort, to enforce the provisions of this article, and to pros-
ecute those persons charged with violation of the provisions thereof.
No powers or duties herein conferred upon the Comptroller or any
other State official shall be deemed to relieve local officials from this
duty of enforcement and prosecution. Nothing herein shall be
deemed "to restrict in any manner the appropriation of funds by the
political subdivision of this State to aid in the enforcement of the
provisions of this article. The provisions of this Section shall not
apply to the sheriff, constables and bailiffs of Baltimore County.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

(House Bill 758)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 8(k) of
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and
1966 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Beer
Licenses," and to
add a new Section 13(j-1) to said Article and
title 2B OF THE ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND (1957
EDITION AND 1966 SUPPLEMENT), TITLE "ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES," subtitle "Beer and Light Wine License," to follow
immediately after Section 13(j) thereof, and to repeal and re-enact,
with amendments. Section 13 (k) of said Article, title and subtitle,
changing and revising the alcoholic beverage license classification
and fees
REVISING THE LAWS PERTAINING TO ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES TO PROVIDE FOR A CERTAIN TYPE OF BEER
AND LIGHT WINE LICENSE AND THE FEE THEREFOR in
Somerset County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 8(k) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages,"
subtitle "Beer Licenses," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments; and that
new Section 13(j-l) be and it is hereby
