year of our Lord God one Thou Seven Hundred and ffive Between
part & Jeremiah Miles of Kent County of the other part Wittnesseth
of the sum of ffive Thousand and ffive Hundred Pounds of Tobacco to
the receipt whereof we doe hereby acknowledge & our selves therewith
and for divers good causes and considerations them thereunto Especially
Clearely Give grant bargaine Sell Aliene Enfeoffe and Confirme from
his Heires or assignes for ever; all that Tract of Land commonly knowne
Patten) now in Kent County on the south side of Chester river beginning
of Land called ye Injoyement and running thence north east & by north
Kreack ninty pches thence up the said Kreck south southwest ninty
& fifty perches & at ye end of the south by est Line west one Hundred
to ye ffirst marked tree Containeing & Lyeing fore one Hundred and fifty
with all rights & Propties thereunto belonging (Royall Mines accepted)
all & singular ye appurtenances thereunto belonging unto him ye said
freely & clearely aquitted Eexounerated & discharged of and from all
leases forfetures Joyntures Entailes Surrenders Judgments Executions
forth shall grow due & payable to ye Chiefe Lord of the ffee or ffees only
    doth for themselves & their Heires Covenant grant & agree to
with evary of them by these psents that the aforesaid pmises are
soever & dwo warrant the sale thereof against all manner of Parsons
& defend & them in peasable posession to Maintain to their only use
    his wife duth for them selves & for their Heyers & assignes to
Jeremiah Miles Heyers & assignes any further Ashorance or
his or their Councell in ye Law shall Reasonably advise devise
Indentuer have Interchangably set to or hands & seales the Day
