interest thereon accrued, or which should have accrued, be-
tween the fixing of the amount of such property by the award
of any court and the actual distribution thereof (except de-
posits of money received by charitable mutual saving-fund
societies not having a capital stock represented by shares^
and except also dividends and profits declared by any build-
ing and loan association to any stockholder or member, and
except also property held by any building and loan association
for the benefit of another); and providing for the means and
methods of such escheat; and making a violation of certain
of the provisions of this Act a misdemeanor. " [Endorsed:
"Read the third time and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which
was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Finance. ]

Also House Bill No. 692, entitled "An Act to require the
State's Attorney for Somerset county to act as attorney to
the Board of Supervisors of Elections of Somerset county and
judges of elections, whether acting as such or as registration
officers, and to the Board of County School Commissioners
of Somerset county. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and
passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was read the first time
and referred to Senators Parsons, Shepherd and Harrison. ]

Also House Bill No. 687, entitled "An Act to authorize the
Mayor and Commissioners of Westernport, in Allegany county,
to borrow money upon the faith and credit of said corpora-
tion and to issue coupon bonds therefor for an amount not
exceeding twenty thousand dollars ($20, 000) for the pur-
pose of paying off the floating debt of said corporation and
for the purpose of extending and repairing the public water
system of said municipality, and for the purpose of installing
sewers in said town and to defray the costs of the erection
and equipment of a municipal building for use by said cor-
poration. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by
yeas and nays"] [Which was read the first time and re-
ferred to Senators Zihlman, Speicher and Bomberger. ]

Also House Bill No. 684, entitled "An Act to repeal Sec-
tion 10-D of Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
'Caroline County, ' sub-title 'Almshouse, ' as amended by the
Acts of 1910, Chapter 133, and re-enact the same with amend-
ments. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays"] [Which was read the first time and referred to
Senators Cooper, Collier and Legg. ]

Also House Bill No. 675, entitled "An Act to authorize and
empower Eugene Crocheron, of Crocheron, Maryland, Straits
