Also House Bill No. 235, entitled "An Act to amend Article
8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of the State of Mary-
land, title 'Cecil County, ' sub-title 'Rising Sun, ' by adding two
additional sections thereto, providing for bonding the town of
Rising Sun to pay for water works now constructed, and to
provide for a water supply for the inhabitants of said town,
and for other municipal improvements, and to submit the ques-
tion of issuing said bonds to the vote of the legally qualified
voters and tax-payers of said town. " [Endorsed: "Read the
third time and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was read
the first time and referred to Senators Williams, Archer and
Cooper. ]

Also House Bill No. 272, entitled "An Act to add an addi-
tional section to Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, entitled 'Allegany County, ' subtitle 'Cumberland, '
to follow Section 80 and be known as Section 80-A, and to
repeal all Acts and parts of Acts inconsistent therewith, said
section to provide the right of appeal to the Circuit Court for
Allegany county from any decision or judgment in any case
rendered by the Police Magistrate of the City of Cumberland. "
[Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas and
nays"] [Which was read the first time and referred to Sena-
tors Zihlman, Speicher and Kaufman. ]

Also House Bill No. 255, entitled "An Act to extend and
enlarge the powers of the Woodstock College of Baltimore
county, a corporation duly incorporated by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland by the Act of 1867, Chapter 369, as amended
by the Act of 1884, Chapter 63. " [Endorsed: "Read the third
time and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was read the
first time and referred to the Committee on Corporations. ]

Also House Bill No. 246, entitled "An Act to repeal and
re-enact, with amendments, Section 193 of Article 23 of the
Annotated Code of the Public Civil Laws of Maryland, entitled
'Corporations, ' sub-title 'Insurance Department. '" [Endorsed:
"Read the third time and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which
was read the first time and referred to the Committee on Cor-
porations. ]

Also House Bill No. 189, entitled "An Act to require the
State Roads Commission of Maryland to survey a road in
Prince George's and Charles counties. " [Endorsed: "Read the

the first time and referred to the Committee on Roads and
