Also House Bill No. 118, entitled "An Act to propose an
amendment to Section 52 of Article III, title Legislative De-
partment of the Constitution of this State, regulating the
making of appropriations by the General Assembly of Mary-
land in regular session, and to provide for the submission of
said amendment to the qualified voters of this State for adop-
tion or rejection. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and
passed Ity yeas and nays. "] [Which was read the first time
and referred to the Committee on Amendments to the Consti-
tution. ]

Also House Bill No. 214, entitled "An Act to amend the
Charter of Mount Airy, in Carroll and Frederick counties,
Maryland, by repealing Section B, Chapter 341, Acts of 1900,
and re-enacting the same as amended. " [Endorsed: "Read the
third time and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was read
the first time and referred to the Committee on Judicial Pro-
ceedings. ]

Also House Bill No. 170, entitled "An Act to amend the
charter of the Grangers Mutual Life Insurance Company of
Frederick county, Maryland, by repealing all of Chapter 382
of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January
Session, 1892, entitled £An Act to repeal Chapter 309 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the
January Session of 1886, entitled "An Act to amend the char-
ter of the Grangers Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Fred-
erick county, and to grant a new charter, to said company, "
after Article 1 of Section 2 of said Act, and all subsequent
Acts amendatory of said Act and supplementary thereto, and
re-enacting the same, with amendments. '" [Endorsed: "Read
the third time and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was
read the first time and referred to the Committee on Corpo-
rations. ]

Also House Bill No. 193, entitled "An Act to repeal and
re-enact, with amendments, Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 13,
14, 15; 17, 21 and 26 of Chapter 179 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1908, entitled 'An Act to regulate
the sale and the granting of licenses for the sale of spirituous
and fermented liquors in Baltimore county, ' and to add six new
and additional sections to said Chapter 179 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1908, to come in immediately
after Section 9 of said Act and to be designated and known
respectively as Sections 9-A, 9-B, 9-C, 9-D, 9-E and 9-F of said
Act. ' [Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays. "] [Which was read the first time and referred to
Senators Allen, Norris and Archer. ]
