3. And be it enacted, That the said Matthew Murray, before he
derives any benefit from or under this act, shall lodge his collection
books in the clerk's office of Baltimore county, to be open for the
inspection of all persons interested in the same.

An Act for the Relief of Elizabeth Knott, of Dorchester County.
1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
said Elizabeth Knott be and she is hereby divorced from bed, board,
and mutual cohabitation, with her husband James Knott.
2. And be it enacted, That all the right and title which the said
James Knott, by virtue of his marriage with said Elizabeth, had
acquired to any property which she may become entitled to, in any
way or manner whatever, be and the same is hereby annulled and
made void; and that the said Elizabeth Knott, be and she is hereby
declared capable to have, hold, take, receive, sue for and recover,
by compromise, suit or suits, in law or equity, all such property,
in as full and ample a manner as if she were a feme sole, and had
never been married; and to hold, use and enjoy the same, for her
own use and benefit, and the same to dispose of according to her
will and pleasure, without the molestation, interference, hindrance
or consent, of her said husband, in the same manner she could or
might have done were she a feme sole.

CHAP. LXXIV.

An Act for the benefit of the Vestry of All Saints Church, in Frederick-Town,
Frederick County.
1. Be it enacted, by the. General Assembly of Maryland, That Wil-
liam M. Beall, John Brien, Thomas Shaw, Richard Potts, William
Tyler, John Graham, William Springer, and William Goldsbo-
rough, and their successors in the vestry office of All Saints Church
in Frederick-town, Frederick county, be and they are hereby au-
thorised to take, have and receive, and to demand, sue for and re-
cover, in any court of law or equity in this state, the legacy of
money devised or bequeathed by William Potts, late of Frederick
county, deceased, by his last will and testament, to the Reverend
Frederick W. Hatch, late rector of said church, in trust to pro-
vide a permanent parsonage-house and lot for the accommodation
of the minister of All Saints Church in Frederick-town.
2. And be it enacted, That the said vestry of All Saints, and their
successors, be and they are hereby declared competent to purchase,
provide and hold, any parsonage-house and lot which may be ob-
tained in execution of the trust confided by the aforesaid testator,
to the late rector of said church.

chap. lxxv.

An Act to alter the time of holding the County Court in Charles County.
Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That from
and after the passage of this act, the county court of Charles
county shall be held on the third Monday in March, and on the
first Monday of November, in each and every year hereafter, any
law to the contrary notwithstanding, and that all causes, pleas,
process and proceedings, civil and criminal, now depending in the
said county court, or hereafter to be issued therefrom, shall be con-
tinued and returnable to the said days respectively.
