To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, BERTRAM L. BOONE, II., SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE
OF MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
edition) DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at the General Assembly of
1949, an Act known as Chapter 181 was to be submitted to
the voters of the Town of Cottage City, Prince George's
County, Maryland, for their adoption or rejection under the
provisions thereof, said Act being:

An Act to extend the limits of the Town of Cottage City,
a municipal corporation, by including therein a part of
Prince George's County contiguous thereto, and for
other purposes.

AND I DO CERTIFY, That no election was held on May 24,
1949, in the Town of Cottage City as required by Chapter 181
of the Acts of 1949.

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto sub-

at the City of Annapolis, this 6th day of
