To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, BERTRAM L. BOONE, II., SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE
OF MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
edition) DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at an election held in the
Town of Princess Anne, Somerset County, Maryland, an Act
known as Chapter 227 of the General Assembly of 1949, was
submitted to the voters of the Town of Princess Anne, for
their adoption or rejection under the provisions thereof, said
Act being:
An Act providing for a Town Manager.
AND I DO CERTIFY, That at said election 138 votes were cast
for the Town Manager System, provided for by Chapter 227
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1949, and
48 votes were cast against the Town Manager System, a ma-
jority of the votes being cast in favor of the Town Manager
System it has therefore been ratified by the voters of the
Town of Princess Anne.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto sub-

at the City of Annapolis, this 6th day of
