corner of the ballot and binding on the upper edge thereof, but
separated therefrom by a line running the entire width of
said coupon. Upon said coupon shall be printed the words
"Voter's name, " with a line drawn thereunder for writing
said name, and under the said line the words "Number of
voter, " followed by a blank space for the insertion of the
number. Before distribution said ballots shall be so folded
in marked creases that no part of the marks or printing except
that upon the back and outside and upon the detachable stub
or coupon shall be visible.

The laws now in force for the conduct of general elections in
Washington County and for the defraying of the expenses
thereof shall apply in all particulars not herein especially pro-
vided for, and any election in which this question is submitted
to the vote of the people of said County shall be conducted in
strict accordance with all the provisions and requirements of
the Corrupt Practices Act.

3. And be it enacted, That the Supervisors of Elec-
tions of said County shall, as soon as convenient after receiv-
ing and canvassing all the ballots cast "For license" and
"Against license" in Washington County, proclaim the result
of said election and publish such proclamation in at least two
newspapers published in that County and shall record in a
well-bound book, to be kept in their office by them and their
successors, the result of the vote upon said proposition, and
such result may be proved in all courts and in all proceedings
by such record or by the official certificate under Supervisors
of Elections. There shall be no election on such question
after it has been once submitted to the people within a period
of forty-two months from the date of such election, but after
such time said question may be resubmitted in the same man-
ner as is provided in the previous sections of this Act for its
submission, and the provisions of this Act for the carrying into
effect of the result of such election shall apply in the same man-
ner to such future elections.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That if a majority of the legal
voters voting upon said proposition shall vote "For License, "
then the laws affecting the sale of liquor in said County now in
force on the statute books of said County shall remain in full
force and effect. But if a majority of the legal voters voting
upon said proposition shall vote "Against license, " then on and
after the first day of May following such election it shall be un-
