tion.: "Shall the sale of intoxicating liquors be licensed in
Washington County?" Under said proposition shall be printed
the words "For license" and "Against license" on separate
lines, printed thereon in bold, twelve-point pica type, with a
square or a box to the right and opposite the words "For li-
cense" and a corresponding square or box to the right and
opposite the words "Against license. " And all ballots used in
the aforesaid special election in said County shall be printed
in the same uniform type, upon plain white printing paper of
ordinary book weight, of uniform size, and the following prop-
osition shall be printed in clear, plain, bold Roman capitals,
twelve-point pica type: "Shall the sale of intoxicating liquors
be licensed in Washington County?" Under said proposition
shall be printed the words "For license" and "Against license"
on separate lines, printed thereon in bold, twelve-point pica
type, with a square or a box to the right and opposite the
words "For license" and a corresponding square or box to the
right and opposite the words "Against license. "

At any ejection when the said proposition is submitted the
persons managing the interests of those in favor of and the
persons managing the interests of those opposed to said propo-
sition shall have respectively the right to designate and keep a
challenger and a watcher at such election place. A certificate
signed by the managing officer of the committee managing the
interests of those in favor of and those opposed to said propo-
sition shall be sufficient evidence of the right of such chal-
lenger and such watcher to be in the polling room. Such chal-
lenger and such watcher shall have the powers conferred upon
challengers and watchers at general elections held in this State
by Section 64 of Article 33 of Bagby's Annotated Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland.

The ballots above mentioned shall be so printed as to give
each voter a clear opportunity to designate by a cross in a
square opposite the words "For license" and in a square oppo-
site the words "Against license" his answer to such question.
On the back and outside of all ballots used at such special
election shall be printed the words "Official ballot for" fol-
lowed by the designation of the polling place for which it is
prepared, the date of the election and a f ac simile of the signa-
ture of the president of the Board of Supervisors of Elections
by whom the ballots have been prepared. Said ballots shall be
printed on the same leaf with a detachable stub or coupon one
inch high and three inches wide above the upper right hand
