House bill entitled an Act to incorporate a Company for
the establishment of a public Cemetery at Elkton, Md.
Which was read the second time.

Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported unfavorably,

House bill entitled an Act to legulate the sale of seats in
Theatres, Concerts or Lecture Halls and other places of pub-
lic entertainment.

Mr Dennis moved to substitute the bill for the unfavora-
ble report.

Which was decided in the negative by yeas and nays as

follows :

Hepbron.

NEGATIVE.

Messrs. President, Joyce,
Aydelotte, Knight,

The question recurring upon the adoption of the unfavora-
ble report,

It was adopted.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

Mr Lloyd, from the Committee on Finance, reported favora-
bly the following bills:

First. House bill entitled an Act to refund to Eoss
Winans. of Baltimore city, certain taxes paid in error.

Second. House bill entitled an Act to refund taxes paid
on Liquor and Oyster House licenses to citizens of Dorches-
ter and Caroline counties, erroneously paid.

Which were read the second time.

Also, unfavorably,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct the Clerk
of the Superior Court of Baltimore city, to purchase the right
to use the Campbell System of Indexing in the Clerk's Offices
of Court for the Land Records of said city.

Which was adopted.
