House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 20, Article 28,
of the Code of Public General Laws, title "County Commis-
sioners," sub-title "Roads," as re-enacted with amendments
ty Chapter 423, laws of 1874, so far as the same relates to
Baltimore County, and to prevent public roads from passing
through burial grounds.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act of the Legisla-
ture, passed at January Session, 1876, Chapter 406, entitled
an Act to repeal Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10,11, 12,
13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20, title "Baltimore County,"
sub-title "Roads."

Which were read the second time.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliver-
ed the following message :

BT THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES.

March 21st, 1878.
Gentlemen of the Senate :

We have received your message asking the return to the
Senate of House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners for Talbot County to purchase Miles River
Bridge, and to make the same a free bridge, and respectfully
return said bill.

Chief Clerk.
Which was read.

Also, returned the bill therein reftrred to.
Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct the
County Commissioners of Baltimore County to regrade and
repave West Baltimore street, on the Calverton Turnpike
Road, where it intersects said street, to a point one hundred
feet west from the west side of Catharine street leading to
the Live Stock Scales.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

Also, returned,

Senate bill entitled an Act to adjust and settle finally, by an
agreement, all pending controversies between the Baltimore
and Ohio Railroad Company and the State of Maryland, by
subjecting the franchises and property of said Company
