Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the Baltimore, Canton and Point Breeze Railway Com-
pany of Baltimore city, by authorizing it to lease,
purchase or aid other railroads or to consolidate with
the same.

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled
"an Act to incorporate the Baltimore Traction Com-
pany of Balti more city, and to enable said company to
use the electric power known as the Trolley System, for
the propulsion of its cars upon its railways. "

Which were read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

By Mr. Brown,

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, Article 45, title
"Husband and Wife, " by adding an additional sec-
tion thereto, to be known as Section 19, under the
sub-title of "An Act to quiet the title to property
passing from husband to wife. "

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

By Mr. Perrie,

Senate bill entitled an Act to extend the charter of
Mount Savage Lodge, No. 43, Independent Order of
Odd Fellows, granted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, at its December Session, 1844, chapter 293,
and to grant additional powers to said corporation.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

Mr. Getty, from the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably, (he following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to make valid the cor-
porate name of "The United Sons of Towsontown
Lodge, No. 1773, of the Grand United Order of Odd
Fellows. "

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Dormer
and Smyth Hardware Company.
Which was read the second time.
