The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and
delivered the following message :

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

April 2d, 1892.
Gentlemen of the Senate :

We have received your message requesting the
House to recede from its amendments to Senate Bill
No. 307, entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments sections 26 and 27, of Article 63, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Militia,"

We respectfully inform you that the House adheres to
its amendments and propose the appointment of a
Joint Committee of Conference on the disagreeing
votes of the two Houses.

We have named on the part of, the House, Messrs.
Field, Graver and W alien.

We herewith return said bill.

Mr. Pearre presented the following message:

BY THE SENATE,

April 2d, 1893.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We have received your message asking for a Con-
ference Committee on the disagreeing vote of the two
Houses on the House amendment to the Senate Bill
No. 307, entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments sections 26 and 27, of Article 63, of the
Code of Public General Laws, titled "Militia."

We concur therein, and appoint on the part of the
Senate, Messrs. Pearre, Smith and Moss.

Secretary.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House
