[p 169] Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to
Joseph Clark Seven hundred and forty three pounds, fifteen shillings
for Disbursements by him on the public buildings from 8th. August
to 16 Instant per Account passed by the Auditor.

That the said Treasurer pay to Robert Carson Four pounds, and
three pence specie agreeably to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from
this State" per Account passed to the 1st. November 1785 by the
Auditor General.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Wednesday 20th September 1786

The Council met.

Present the Honorable James Brice

John Kilty
Samuel T. Wright
William Paca Esquires.

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Samuel
Turbutt Wright Esquire Fifty pounds for One Quarter's Salary as a
Member of the Council due in August last.

That the said Treasurer pay to Joseph Clark One hundred pounds
to be applied towards procuring Shingles for the Stadt house, on
Account.

That the said Treasurer pay to Henry Stevenson Three pounds
Eighteen shillings and One penny specie agreeably to the "Act to
adjust the Debts due from this State" per Certificates passed by the
Auditor General to the 1st. November last.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Thursday 21st. September 1786

The Council met.

Present His Excellency William Smallwood Esquire.

The Hon'ble. James Brice
John Kilty
Samuel T. Wright
William Paca Esquires.

Commission issued to Thomas Andrew Dyson of Charles County,
appointed Naval Officer of the first District in the room of Mevriell
Lock, deceased.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.
