Dollars to be delivered over to William Bond son of Joshua
purchaser of Provisions in Harford County on Account.
Whereas on or about the twenty sixth day of March last it
was adjudged by this Board that there were good grounds to
believe that the going at Large of Edward Tilghman Junr of
Queen Annes County might be dangerous to the safty of
this State and this Board did therefore order that he should
give Bond payable to this State in the Penalty of five thousand
Pounds current money, with sufficient security to be approved
of by this Board or by some Justice of the Peace for Queen
Annes County conditioned for his the said Edward's Tilgh-
man's personal Appearance before the then next general
Court to be held for the Eastern shore to answer for his going
into Philadelphia whilst in Possession of the Enemy without
having Permission from the Governor and Council of this
State and not departing the said Court without leave thereof
and further for his not going out of Queen Ann's County nor
more than five Miles from the Dwelling House of his father
Edward Tilghman without the leave of the Governor and
Council of this State for the Time being unless for the purpose
of attending the General Court as aforesaid and for his return-
ing from the same Court as soon as permitted within the said
Limit which Bond was as represented accordingly given. And

it Appearing to this Board that there is no good Ground to

believe that the now going at Large of the said Edward
Tilghman Junr will be dangerous to the Safety of this State.
