[Council to W. Bund.]
In Council 29th July 1778.
Sir
The foregoing are Copies of the Order in Council and of
our circular Letter of the 20th June which we perceive from
your Letter, have not reached you. We send by your Brother
James Bond, the four thousand Dollars you wrote for and, as
continental Purchasers are fixed, we believe almost every
where and we have no Doubt but they will be able to supply
the Army. We request you'll make no further Purchases of
Cattle or Provisions under our Appointment; we wish you to
forward what Cattle you have on Hand to Colo Blaine or some
Purchaser under him, taking his Receipt, that your Account
may be setled, and we enabled to have a full Account of the
Purchases of Provisions by this State made up against the
Congress.
We are &ca
Mr Wm Bond, son of Joshua
Harford County
