Information:
Lot 48 on Market Street in Brookeville was purchased by William
Stabler in 1800 as part of a two-lot parcel that included lots 48 and
49.1
When William passed away in 1806, he left both lots to his wife,
Deborah Stabler. In 1813, the two lots were valued at $25.2 The Stablers
never built any structures on the
property while it was
under their ownership. Deborah sold lots 48 and 49 to William H.
McCauley on December 28, 1843.3
