Comments:
Appointed to the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City by Governor Albert C. Ritchie in 1926 and within a year won election for a full fifteen year term. He was re-elected to another fifteen year term in 1951, but retired at the mandatory age of seventy in 1945. While serving on the bench, taught criminal law and medical jurisprudence at the University of Maryland School of Law, Johns Hopkins Medical School and the University of Baltimore School of Law.
