School Teachers of Early Maryland

McDonald, Alexander, for 31 years the honest and diligent English school teachers in Frederick Town, died 3 Oct 1795. He was born 1745 in Edinburgh, Scotland, and married the daughter of Lorentz Hoff and wife Susanna, with whom he had one son and two daughters. He died of high fever and jaundice (Weiser:124)
