Charlett, John, (MSA SC5300-70), was in Annapolis by 10 Aug 1748 when he gave notice he intended going to England with the present shipping. Later Charles Cole stated that John Charlett was his servant and had not served his time. Charlett advertised he would teach reading, writing and arithmetic at Mrs. Jenning's house near Severn Ferry (AMG 10 Aug 1748, 26 Oct 1748, 15 March 1759).
