School Teachers of Early Maryland by Robert Barnes MSA SC 5300
Banning, Andrew (MSA SC5300-21), of DO Co., was a teacher in
a private school, and took the Oath in 1754 (CMSP Black Books, X,
38).
Other activitirs: In 1740 someone of this name was a petitioner
of St. Peter's Parish, TA requesting the parish be divided after the death
of Rev. Daniel Maynadier (CMSP Black Books, Item 410).
He may be the Andrew Banning who was a member of St. Mary's White Chapel
Parish, DO, who contributed to the relief of sufferers from the Boston
fire (CMSP Black Books, Item 1061).
