This is the first of five states of the second edition of the Fry and Jefferson map of 1753. It is the first French edition. It was copied for the most part from state 1 of the English edition. This is state five, the last state, of the first French edition (ed. 2) of the Fry & Jefferson map of 1753. It was in the Atlas Universel in 1794 and 1799. 1753 [1794]. MSA SC 1399-1-553 [HFC 294R5]

This is state 3 of the first French edition (2nd ed.) of the Fry & Jefferson map of 1753. The plate is signed "Groux", replacing "E. Haussard". This is a relatively rare state. 1753 [1780]. This is state 2 of the first French edition of the Fry & Jefferson map of 1753. It is the second edition of the map. There are significant geographical changes in this state. The western boundary of the Fairfax grant and the western Pa line are removed 1753 [1780]. MSA SC 1399-1-562 [HFC 280R3]

This is state 4 of the first French edition (2nd ed.) of the Fry and Jefferson map of 1753. This state drops the words "du roi" in the title after "ordinaire". This state of the map is very rare. 1753 [1793?]. MSA SC 1399-1-564 [HFC 293R5]
