  • Virginia. This is the sixth derivative of the John Smith map of 1612. It was intended for inclusion in Historia Mundi: or Mercator's Atlas, 1635, but was not ready when it was released. It was included in the 1637 and 1639 editions. 1636. MSA SC 1399-1-206 [HFC 136H5]
