Are you old enough to remember those old, politically incorrect cigarette ads that implored "Show us your Lucky Strikes!", and featured a panoramic spread of people along a parade route of tobacco consumption? Even if you're not THAT old, but you DO have wonderful stories of your successes in getting or using Assistive Technology to work, live or play, Maryland TAP needs to hear from you! If you are a Maryland resident or visitor who has benefitted from new technology, high technology, low technology or no technology, we need to hear from you. As our elected representatives prepare to "AYE" or "NAY" numerous pieces of proposed legislation directly affecting our ability to learn about, obtain, and use effectively new or existing assistive and mainstream technologies, we must press our case. Your story, in your own (few!) words will help us. Publishable success stories, with your picture, if you provide it, will be presented in August TT. Hurry, hurry, hurry and take the A-T Train - our deadline is July 17th!
