Menu Bar


At the top of his screen Wilbur has a standard Windows menu bar.

File menu used to save and recall different indices as well as  launching, copying, printing selected files and other utility functions.  Program preferences are also accessed from here.
Edit menu used to copy text from the view pane to the clipboard and export selected text to a common file.
Index menu used to define the properties of indexes (such what files to index), build and update indexes, halt indexing, create word count files and import skip words.
Search menu used to search for words in the index.
View menu controls various aspects of how Wilbur presents himself, such as the presence of a Tool Bar and  Status Bar, the fonts used, what columns are displayed in the file list other viewing options.
Help menu Help, program information and registration commands.
