Project History

The Early State Records Series, a microfilm edition filmed and edited by William Sumner Jenkins and his staff for the Library of Congress, is the starting point for images of the original legislative, executive, and judicial records through ca. 1830, from which new transcribed and indexed volumes in the Archives of Maryland in part will be derived.
