Born in Dover, Delaware, July 13, 1948.  Attended University of Maryland, B.S., 1971; University of Baltimore School of Law, J.D., 1975.  Married; two children.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Caroline, Cecil, Kent, Queen Anne's, Talbot counties, 1991-94.  Member, Ways and Means Committee; Education Subcommittee; Joint Expenditure Study Group on Law Enforcement and Transportation.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Attorney.  Member, Caroline County, 2nd Circuit, Maryland State and American Bar Associations.  Member, American Trial Lawyers Association; Maryland Trial Lawyers Association.  Adjunct faculty, real estate, business and banking law, Chesapeake College, 1978-83.  Member, president and vice president, Caroline County Board of Education, 1983-89.  Chair, Caroline County Democratic State Central Committee, 1986-90.  Coach/manager, Denton Little League Girls' Softball, 1987-90.  Vice-chair, Attorney Grievance Commission.  Affiliate member, Caroline County Board of Realtors.  Member, Caroline County Chamber of Commerce.  President, vice-president, secretary, Choptank Ruritan Club.  President, vice-president, Denton Lions Club.
