Born April 1, 1910.  Attended University of Maryland, B.S.; University of Baltimore, LL.B.  Admitted to the Maryland Bar, 1941.  Married.  Died January 3, 2003 of heart failure.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Harford County, 1935-47.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Lawyer.  Executive secretary, Maryland State Fair Board.  Chair, Board of Natural Resources; Governor's Committee to Keep Maryland Beautiful; Maryland Environmental Trust; Harford County Educational Foundation.  Member, Maryland Historical Trust.  Trial magistrate, Harford County, 1959-67.  Chief judge, People's Court, Harford County, 1967-70.  Attorney, Board of County Commissioners, Harford County, 1971-72.
