of him the said John Muschett whereby the said John Muschett Remains
against the said William Theobalds thereof undefended
                                                                                             Therefore it is
Considered that the said John Muschett Recover of the said W.m Theobalds
his Debt & Costs aforesaid and his Damages by Occasion of detaining
of that Debt to Four Hundred and Eighty One pounds of Tobacco to the same
John Muschettl on his Assent by the Court here Adjudged and the said
Def.t in mer   W.m Theobalds in Mercy &Ca
                                              Memorandum plaintiff Releases all but 4098 &
                                              Costs

Judgment p Nonsum Informatus

Charles County ss.t  Richard Gambra late of Charles County Planter otherwise
                                Called Richard Gambra of Charles County Planter
                                was summoned to answer unto John Muschett of a plea
                                that he Render unto him the Just and full Sum of Twelve
                                Thousand Two Hundred pounds of good Sound Merchantable
                                Leaf Tobacco in Cask which to him he owes and unjustly
                                detains and so forth

    And Whereupon the same John by Jeremiah Chase his Attorney Saith
that whereas the aforesaid Richard Gambra by the name of Richard Gambra of Charles
County Planter on the Eleventh day of August In the year of our Lord One Thousand
Seven Hundred and forty six at Charles County by his Certain Writing
Obligatory under the hand and seal of the said Richard bearing date the day and year
last Named Granted himself to be held and firmly bound to the aforesaid Corn.s Sandford
his Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs or Assigns in the Just and full sum of Twelve Thousand Two
Hundred Pounds of Good Sound Merchantable Leaf Tobacco in Cask to be paid
unto the said Corn.s Sandford his Certain Attorney Executors Adm.rs or Assigns at
or upon the first day of January Next Ensuing the date hereof and the said John
further saith that the Corn.s Sandford after the Twenty first day of September In
the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred & forty Six at Charles County
aforesaid by his Certain Writing under the hand and seal of him the said Corn.s
Sandford bearing date the day and year last mentioned according to the form and
Effect of the Act of Assembly in such Cases made and Provided assigned the s.d
Writing Obligatory to the said John for Value Received as therein mentioned of which s.d
Assignment the said John afterwards to wit on the said Twenty Seventh day of Feb.ry
in the year last mentioned at Charles County afs.d to the said Richard Gambra Gave Notice
and the said John in fact saith that the said ^Rich.d^ altho often Required the afs.d Sum of Twelve
Thousand Two Hundred Pounds of Tobacco to the said John hath not Paid nor any part
