Anno Domini 1747 And their pledges of prosecuting be in Mercy &C.a and the said Edward go thereof without Day &C.a It is Likewise Considered
This being an action upon the Case for the Recovery of Eleven Hundred and Eighty Eight Pounds of Tobacco due on account to the said Robert Gilpin from the said Samuel Luckett the said Samuel was by Virtue of a Capias Ad Respondendum Returnable before his Lordships County Court on the Second Tuesday Tuesday in May in the year of our Lord seventeen Hundred and forty six arrested Thereupon the said Robert Produces the account afs.d In the words following vizt 1745 Samuel Luckett D.r Contra C.r
And the said Samuel by Henry Darnall his attorney Comes and defends the force and Injury when &C.a and prays leave to Imparle hereto until the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the Second Tuesday in August and he hath it and the same day is given to the same Robert here &Ca At which day to wit the Second Tuesday in Aug.st afs.d Comes here as well the said Robert as the said Samuel by their Attorneys afs.d and the said Samuel by his said attorney prays further leave to Imparle here to until the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the Second Tuesday in November and he hath it and the same day is given to the same Robert here &Ca At which day to wit the Second Tuesday in November afs.d Comes here as well the said Robert as the said Samuel by their attorneys aforesaid and the said Samuel by his said attorney prays further leave to Imparle hereto until the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the Second Tuesday in March and he hath it and the same day is given to the same Robert here &Ca At which day to wit the Second Tuesday in March afs.d (Comes) |
