Robert Taylor was about to make a Resurvey of a tract of Land Called Dublin (whereon the said Robert now
Lives) and this deponant was then sworn a Chain Carier upon that Occasion and in running the Lines of the said
tract from the first bounder thereof the Courses of the same Land brought them to a Red Oak stump standing
Between the Plantation of the said Robert and the marshside where is now marked with eight notches
small white Oak or within Twenty Foot of the same from which place the Surveyor set his Compass to run
the east Course of the said tract of Land Called Dublin into the woods for the Length of the af.d tract and this deponant
further sayeth that Thomas Wood was then present at the said stump and was well satisfied with seting the af.d east
Course from that place and further this deponant says not                                    Teague Matthews

       Somerset County ss.t  George Marshall of Somerset County Planter aged thirty six years of there
abouts sworn upon the holy Evangelist of Almighty God deposeth as follows that he this deponant
about Fifteen years agoe was at the Resurvey of the tract of Land Called Dublin by Robert Taylor
in running of which the said Taylor Thomas Wood and sundry other persons Came to a place Between the
Plantation where the said Taylor now Lives and then did reside and the marsh side where was an Old
Stump which seemed by the said Taylor and Wood Allowed and deemed as the place where the second
Bounder of the said tract Dublin had stood and by their Consent a Red Oak Saplin near to the af.d Stump
was marked instead of the second bounder tree so fallen this deponant further sayeth that a few days there
after he was Informed by the said Taylor that his Little Boy had Cutt down the said Saplin which was
very near the place where now a white Oak is marked with eight notches and further this deponant
sayeth not                                                                                                       his

       Somerset ss   Isaac Boston of Somerset County Planter aged forty five years or there abouts
sworn on the holy Evangelist of Almighty God deposeth as follows that about fifteen years agoe
when Robert Taylor Resurveyed a Certain tract of Land whereon the said Robert now Lives and on
which he did then reside Called Dublin this deponant was in Company with the said Robert Taylor
Thomas Wood Jeofry Long and Thomas Adams and sundry other persons at the place Between
the said Plantation of the said Robert and the marsh side where they seemed satisfied the second bounder
of the said tract of Land Dublin had before that time stood that Thomas Adams on the said Jeofry Long
had Strided the Land of the said Thomas Woods A Cross Contiguous to the af.d tract Dublin and by
that method of measureing the distance Across the said Wood Land did Correspond and Agree with the
place where the said Company was that then was their and Old Stump near which the said Robert
Taylor and Thomas Wood Allowed to be marked a small saplin Oak in stead of the tree so fallen Cutt
