upon a Certain James Wallis in the peace of God and the same Lord propry then and there being an Assault did upon the highway make and him the said James then and there ^did^ threaten menace and Challenge to fight and evilly ^treat^ and other harms to him then and there did to the Grievous Damage of him the said James Wallis Contrary to the peace of the said Lord proprietary that now is his good rule and Government Test James Wallis On the foregoing bill of Indictment it was Endorsed Ignoramus W.m Waters foreman

Seven hundred and forty ^one^ to answer unto mathew Kemp of a plea of trespass upon the Case &a and the Same day is given to the aforesaid Mathew there &a Att which day here Came the aforesaid Mathew Kemp by George Douglas his attorney and the sher to witt John Handy Gent now here Returned that he had Taken the aforesaid William King whose body here at this day he had ready to Answer the aforesaid Mathew Kemp of the afd plea as to him it was Commanded Whereupon Came here |
