Any time since the death of the said Thomas or any of them have not the same to the said Edmund
payed or him for the same in any sort Contented but that to do the said Thomas and his said Ex.rs and
Every of them altogether have Refused and the said Ex.rs the same to doe still doe Refuse altho' the
said Thomas the same to doe in his Life afterwards to witt on the first day day of Janry Anno Dom
MDCCXXXviij at the County af.d by the said Edmund was Required and the same to doe the said Ex.rs
after the death of the said Thomas to witt on the xv day of August Anno Dom MDCCXL at
the County af.d and often since that time by the said Edmund were Required  Whereupon the
said Edmund says he is damnifyed Sixty pounds Currt money of maryland and thereof he brings

before me ye 15.th day of August 1740

                                              And Whereupon the said Alexander Buncle Robert King and Ann his wife by
their attorney af.d Cometh and defendeth the force and Injury when &.a and hereupon the said Alexander
Robert and Ann prays ^Leave^ thereof to Imparle here untill next Court to be held at dividing Creek in and for
the County af.d the third tuesday of November then next Following and they have it and the same day
is given to the af.d Edmund here also &.a

                      Att which day here Came againe as well the af.d Edmund Hough as the af.d Alexander
Buncle Robert King and Ann his wife by their attorneys af.d and hereupon the said Edmund Hough
Prays that the af.d Alexander Buncle Robert King and Ann his wife to his decleration afd may
Answer and the same Alexander Robert and Ann his wife at the same day altho Solemnly Called Came
not nor nothing thereof sayth in barr or preclusion of the action af.d of the af.d Edmund by
