Moses in that pte Craftily and Subtilly to deceive and defraud the said four pounds nine shillings and Six pence to the said
Moses altho' the same to do the said Richard by the same Moses on the af.d twelfth day of May in the year af.d and often
afterwards at the County af.d he was thereunto requested hath not paid or Contented but the same to him hitherto to pay or
Content hath refused and still doth refuse and deny to the damage of the said Moses of Eight pounds Curr.t money of Maryland

Douglas his Attorney Comes and defends the force and Injury
when &c and prayeth leave thereof to Imparle here untill
next Court to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of
August then next Following and he hath it and the same
day is given to the af.d here also &c

       Att which    And the aforesaid Richard Knight by his attorney aforesaid Comes and af.d
defends the force and Injury when &c and prayeth Leave thereof to Imparle here untill next Court to be held at dividing

                         Att which day here Came again as well the af.d Moses Challie as the af.d Richard Knight by their Attorneys af.d
and whereupon the said Richard Knight as before defends the force and Injury when &c  And saith that he Cannot deny the
Action af.d of the af.d Moses Challie nor but that he did assume upon himself in manner and form as the af.d Moses Challie
above against him hath Complained and as to the damage of the same Moses by him by Occasion of the premisses in that part
Sustained the same Richard saith and Acknowledgeth that the af.d Moses hath Sustained damages by Occasion of the premisses
beyond his Costs and Charges by him about his Suit in that part apposed to Four pounds nine shillings and Six pence Currt money
of Maryland and not more and because the af.d Moses denys not this but the same Allegation grants to be true prays Judgment
for those damages above Acknowledged together with his Costs and Charges af.d to him to be adjudged &c

                            Therefore by Consent of the parties af.d it is Considered that the af.d Moses Challie recover against the
                                                                                                                                                                               af.d
