Holland and Esther his wife admrx of the aforesaid John Harristoy dec.d for his damages aforesaid by way of attachment
according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided &a

                   Thereupon for that it seems to the Court here that the aforesaid Francis Allen hath Complyed with the
Law as alledged &a
                                        Therefore it is Considered that the aforesaid Francis Allen Recover against the aforesaid Israel
Holland and Esther his wife admrx as aforesaid the Sum of Two thousand One hundred and Ninety One pounds of tobacco
his damages by Occasion of the premisses aforesaid as also all Costs and Charges by the said plantiffe Laid Out and Expended
about his suit by way of attachment against the goods Chattles and Credits of the said John Harristoy dec.d according
to act of assembly in such Case made and provided &a

Command was given to the Sheriffe of Sommerset County that he Should take
Christopher Dominick Jackson late of Somerset County Surgeon if he should be found in his
bailywick and him should safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships
County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of November Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and
forty one to Answer unto John McCuddy of a plea of trespass upon the Case &c and the same day is given to the af.d John here &c

                And the said John McCuddy Complained against the af.d Christopher Dominick Jackson in the plea af.d in form Fowing

Somerset ss/   Christopher Dominick Jackson late of Somerset County Surgeon was attached to Answer unto John McCuddy of a plea of
trespass upon the Case &c
                                              And Whereupon the said John by Geo Douglas his Attorney Complains that whereas the said Christopher
on the first day of March Anno Dom MDCCXL at the County af.d was Indebted to the said John in twenty Six pounds fourteen shillings
Currt money of Maryland for Sundry matters properly in Account Chargeable as by account thereof hereto annexed may appear and so being
thereof Chargeable on Consideration thereof afterwards to wit the day and year af.d at the County af.d upon himself did Assume and to the
said John then and there faithfully promise to pay to the said John the said twenty Six pounds fourteen shillings when he should
be afterwards thereto required by the said John and altho' the said Christopher hath paid of the said Sum Six pounds fifteen
shillings money af.d  Nevertheless as to Nineteen pounds nineteen shillings residue of the said twenty Six pounds fourteen shillings
the said Christopher his promise af.d in form af.d made not regarding but minding and fraudulently intending the said John in
that part Craftily and Subtilly to deceive and defraud the said Nineteen pounds nineteen shillings to the said John hath not paid or
him for the same in any Sort hitherto Contented but that to doe altogether hath refused and still doth refuse altho' thereto afterwards
to wit the day and year af.d at the County af.d and often Since that time by the said John required whereupon the said John says
he is damnifyed forty pounds Currt money of Maryland and thereof he brings Suit &c   Pledg.s &.c J Doe & R Roe
