Injury when &a and Saith that he Cannot deny the action afd of the afd Richard nor but
that he did assume upon himselfe in manner and form as the afd Richard above against
him hath Complained and as to the damage of the Same Richard by him by occasion
of the premisses in that part Sustained the same John Saith and acknowledgeth
that the afd Richard hath Sustained damages by occasion of the premisses beyond
his Costs and Charges by him about his Suit in that part apposed to three pounds
ten Shillings and not more and because the afd Richard denys not this but the
same allegation beleived to be true prays Judgm.t for those damages above acknowledged
together with his Costs and Charges afd to him to be adjudged &a

       Therefore by Consent of the parties afd it is Considered that the afd Richard
Tootell Recover against the afd John Evans his damages afd to the afd three
pounds tenn Shillings in form afd acknowledged as also Two hundred and Eighty Eight
266   pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges afd to the Same Richard
at his request by the Court now here of the assent of the parties afd adjudged which
Certain damages in the whole amounts to three pounds ten Shillings and Two hundred
& Eighty Eight                         pounds of tobacco and the aforesaid John in Mercy &a

alias dictus Parris Chipman of Somerset County was sumoned
to answer unto George Gale Gent of a plea that he render him
one hundred pounds Currt money of Maryland which to him he owes and unjustly
detains &.a

And Whereupon the said George by Geo: Douglas his attorney says that whereas the
said Peris on the twelfth day of April Anno Dom MDCCXXXviz at the County
af.d by his certain writing obligatory which the said George Gale sealed with the
seal of the said Peris here unto Court brings whose date is the day and year af.d
did acknowledge himself to be held and firmly bound unto the said Gale in the said
sum of one hundred pounds Currt money of maryland to be paid to the said George
Gale his heirs Ex.rs adm.rs and to the payment thereof by that writing did bind himself
his heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs  Nevertheless the said Peris the said one hundred pounds to the
said George hath not rendred but the same to him to render hitherto hath denyed and
