Lord Baron of Baltemore &.a Justices of a special Court of oyer and terminer
and Goal delivery held at deviding Creek in the County on the said
twenty first day of December Anno Dom MDCCXXXvi a certain bill
of Indictment to be written did cause which bill of Indictment did contain
this false and scandelous matter following viz.t  His Lordship @ Wonney
M.ccClemmey Somerset County ss.t   The Jurors for the Right Honourable
the Lord proprietary that now is for the body of the County af.d
upon their oath do present that Wonney Macclemmey late of Somerset
County ^planter^ the twenty first day of December in the year of our Lord God
one thousand seven hundred thirty and six at the Court house at deviding
Creek in the County af.d one Gray gelding being the proper
goods and Chattles of a certain Robert Collier with force and arms unlawfully
did take and Imprison and the same Gelding so as afd Imprisoned
being with force and arms did disfigure and from the tail of the said
Gelding then and there the hair thereof did with force and arms unlawfull
Cut to the great damage of the said Robert ^Collier^ and against the peace of the right
Honourable the Lord proprietary his good rule and Government &a and
the af.d bill of Indictment in form af.d written and in it the af.d false scandalous
and malitioutly matter above recited containing afterwards to
wit on the day and year last af.d to the Justices of the said Lord
proprietary at a speciall Court of oyer and terminer and Goal delivery
on the day and year last af.d by the said Justices for the County af.d
at deviding Creek af.d held did cause to be delivered which bill of Indictment
the said Justices of the said Robert then and there did receive and
the said bill thereupon to the Jurors of the Grand Inquest for the
said County at the said Goal delivery upon the holy Evangelist of
almighty God then and there charged and sworn then and there did
deliver to enquire and the truth of and Concerning the matter in the said
bill contained ^to present which matter in the said Bill Contained^ afterwards to wit the day and year last af.d at the County
