Att the Motion of Robert Scott of Annamessex Betty a negro Slave of his being antient and
infirm is sett tax free for the future according to the afd motion &c


Nanny a negro Girle of William Jones of Manocan is adjudged to the age of Twelve
Years this term &c


Glusco a negro Boy of John Brittinghams is adjudged by the Court here to be of the age
nine Years this term &c


Francis Porter Lycence
and recognizance
     Francis Porter of Somerset County Inholder came
here into Court in his proper person and prays that he may have
                    the Liberty to keep an Ordinary or hous of Entertainment at the Court house
at dividing Creek in the County afd for the Use and Conveniency of the Inhabitants travellers
and Strangers as to them Respectively shall seem mete which is by the Court hereunto
him granted he giving Security according to Act of assembly in such case made and
provided &c
                               Whereupon the said Francis Porter with Hutton Hill and
Angelo Atkinson both of the County af.d planters his securitys all present herein Court
in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord
Proprietary of the province of Maryland in the sum of five pounds Current money of their
goods and Chattles land and tenements Joyntly and severally to be made and Levied
to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors if it happen that the said Francis
Porter do and shall not pay unto his Lordship fifty shillings Currant money of
Maryland for every ^year^ he shall keep such ordinary or house of entertainment &c

    Likewise the said Francis Porter with Hutton Hill and Angelo Atkinson his securitys
af.d all present herein Court in their proper persons ^as^ afd acknowledged themselves
Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary in the sum of forty pounds Curr.t
money of Maryland of their goods and Chattles Lands and tenements Joyntly and
severally to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors to be made and Levied
if it happen that the said Francis Porter do not keep good rules and orders and do not
suffer Idle loose and disorderly persons to tipple game or Comitt disorders or other
Irregularities in his ordinary or house of entertainment dureing the time that he
shall keep the same Contrary to the true intent and meaning of the act of assembly
in such case made and provided &c
