State of Maryland
Talbot County to wit:
I hereby Certify all persons whom it
doth or may Concern that James Faulkner of the County and
State afs.d Came and Proved to my Satisfaction that the bearer
hereof Henry Peck of the County afores.d a bright mulatto
man about 28 years of age 5 feet 8 Inches high the nail of
the left hand of the forefinger very much Injured was raised in
the County aforesaid
                                  In Testimony whereof I hereto
(Sa)                  S. A. & this 11.th day of Sept.r 1815

State of Maryland
Talbot County to wit
I hereby Certify that M.r Joseph Darden
of the County and State aforesaid came and proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof ^a light Black woman by the name of^ Negro Esther about 25 years of age
was born in the County ^afs.d^ without any scars on her face or arms
is free born
                                     In Testimony &

                                     this 11th day of September 1815
