Talbot County to wit
 I hereby certify all persons whom
it doth or may concern that
    Solomon Martin jur of the County afd came and proved
to my satisfaction that the bear hereof named
James a very black man five feet five inches ^and one quarter^ high
a very black man rather bald about forty six years
of age the nail on his left littel fingure injured ws
raised in the County afd is the Identical person
manumitted by his farther Solomon Martin afd on
the ninth Instance    In Witness the 12 May 1807   JL

 I hereby certify all persons
whom it doth or may concern
that Percy Lloyd of Talbot County afd came and proved
to my satisfaction that the bear hereof a negro
man named Ned of a very dark Complexion five
feet five inches and one half high about forty
years of age has a scare on the left corner of his Eye
left Eye and also has two scars on his wright
hand and one on his write wrist occasioned by
a burne was raised in the County afd is the Identical
person mentioned in Nicholas Martins
Manumission which was Executed on the 9th day
of august 1788 to be free is twelve years from the
date  In Witness the 12th day of May 1807

concern that Wm Brown of the County afsd came
& proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro Girl named
Rachel Seedy of a dark brown complexion five feet 4 In high
about 22 years of age 13 oct 1806 has several scars on her wright
arm & one on her ^left^ wrist hand was raised in the County afd was born
free and is the daughter of Negro Darkey manumitted by him
the said Wm Brown on the 14 Octr 1760   In Testimony &
                                  May 12 1807
