State of Maryland
Talbot County to wit
I do hereby Certify all persons whom
it doth or may Concern that Philip Rigby of the
County aforesaid came and proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof a negro woman of a dark
brown Complection by the named of Rachel five feet
two and one half Inches high about thirty three years
of age has a small scar on the upper part of her
forehead and across her nose has betwix her Eyes
has a mark betwen her Eyes has a mole by the Corner
of her left eye and was raised in the County afd is
the Identical person set free by himself in the year
1789  In witness this 18th of may 1807      J L


The State of Maryland
Talbot County to wit
I do hereby Certify all persons
it doth or may concern that that James Burgess of the
Town of Easton in Talbot County afd came and proved
to my satisfaction that the bear hereof a very bright mulatto
woman named Henry five feet three and one
and a half Inch high with light face Eye rather
sunk in her head about thirty years of age was raised
in the County has no notable scars is the Identical
person mannamited by William Blake of the
County afd in the year 1785  In Witness the 9th day
of may 1807
