7 156 Maryland Talbot County to wit I hereby Certify all persons whom it doth or may concern that James Faulkner of Talbot County afsd came & proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof Negro Ned five feet seven and an half Inches high of a light dark complexion has no visible marks except one of his fore teeth being broken was raised in Talbot County is the Identical person mentioned in John Dixons Manumission date this 9 May 1775 In Testimony & April 2 1807
Satisfaction that Negro Ned the bearer hereof is the Identical person manumitted by John Dixon of Talbot County afsd on the 29 day of May 1775 the same Ned was raised in Talbot County afsd is a dark brown about five feet seven & an half Inches high no visible Mark or scar has lost some of his upper corner teeth In Testimony & April 2 1807 JLoockerman Clk
hereof Negro Nell alias William Walley of a dark brown complexion about 5 feet 3 In high has no visible marks or scars except a scar on his left wrist & Bone across the last Joint of his middle fore finger on his left hand was free born about 21 ys of age & raised in this County & that his Mother was manumitted by Pat Dickinson on 24 July 1784 In Testimony & April 2 1807 |
