Talbot County to wit
 I hereby Certify that Samuel Troth of the County
and State afsd came and proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof a Black Woman who calls herself Nelly Miller
being about the age of Seventeen Years of age four feet 11½ inches
high has no remarkable scars was born free and raised
in the Cty afsd
                            In Testimony &c this 31.st of Augt 1812

 I hereby Certify that W.m Troth of the County
and state afsd came and proved to my Satisfaction
that the bearer hereof negro Tom alias Tom smith
was born free and raised by him the said Wm Troth in the
County afsd   the said Tom alias Tom smith is ^of a dark complexion^ now about
22 years of age   5 feet 8¼ inches high has no remarkable scars
                         In Testimony &.c this 3 sept 1813

Hindman of the County and State
afsd came & proved to my satisfaction
       that the bearer hereof negro a light mullatto
       Woman named Darky who is now about 30 years
       of age 5 feet 1½ inches high has a small space or gap
       between the fore teeth of her under jaw is the
       identical person set free by him the said W.m
       Hindman & was raised & the Coty afsd
                               In Testimony &.c this 16.th Ap.l 1814
