                              Negro Dinah

State of Maryland  Harford County to wit
       I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro Dinah
5 feet 4½ inches high about 37 years of age of a
dark complexion became free on the 6.th day of January
1819 in virtue of a deed of manumission made by
Joseph Davis Senior of said County duly executed
and recorded among the land records of Harford
County Court   the said negro Dinah has a scar
on her right arm near the wrist and was raised in
the said County   In testimony whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed the seal of my office
this 28.th day of March 1820

                            Negro Charles

State of Maryland  Harford County to wit
       I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro Charles
38 years of age 5 feet 3½ inches high pleasant
countenance is square made broad across the
shoulders became free on the first day of April
1820 in virtue of a deed of manumission made by
Aquila Norris of said county duly executed and
recorded among the land records of Harford County
Court   the said negro Charles has a scar on the fore
finger of his left hand and was raised in the County
aforesaid   In testimony whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed the seal of my office this
thirteenth day of april 1820
