(3 lips has a scar upon the upper of his right wrist In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed the seal of the county aforesaid this nineteenth day of November eighteen hundred and six Henry Dorsey Clk proved by W.m Loney as p.r cert filed Negro Arthew State of Maryland Harford County to wit I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro Arthew five feet nine inches high forty three years of age of a dark brown of yellow complexion square made and has a scar on the upper side of his cheek near the right eye became free on the Eleventh day of February in the year Eighteen hundred and seven by virtue of a deed of Manumission made by John Coleman of said County and duly executed and recorded among the land records of Harford County Court the said Arthew was raised in the County aforesaid In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the Seal of my office this 17.th day of February in the year Eighteen hundred and seven The said Arthew being personally Henry Dorsey Clk known it supercedes the necessity of being sworn to Negro Cæsar state of Maryland Harford County to wit I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof negro Ceasar five feet three and an half inches high about thirty eight or thirty nine years of age square made bow legged has a scar over each eye & a very large mouth became free on the sixth day of March Eighteen hundred and seven by virtue of a deed of manumission made by Joseph Worthington, James Johnson, Joseph W. Dallan and William Johnson of said county and duly executed and recorded among the land records of Harford County Court the said Ceasar was raised in the County aforesaid In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of my office this seventh day of march in the year Eighteen hundred & seven The said Cæsar identified Henry Dorsey Clk H.d by Ct by Benjamin G Jones Esqr |
