                               Negro Nanney

State of Maryland   Harford County to wit
             I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro
Nanney five feet five inches and a quarter high thirty
four years of age of a ^bright^ yellow complexion became
free on the tenth day of July in the year Eighteen hundred
and seven by virtue of a deed of manumission made by
Stephen Rigdon of said County and duly executed and
recorded   The said Negro Nanney was raised in
the County aforesaid
                                In testimony whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed the seal of my office this
fifteenth day of September in the year Eighteen hundred
and seven

                                     Negro Jacob Jones

State of Maryland  Harford County to wit
                I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Negro Jacob
Jones five feet nine and an half inches high of a bright
Colour became free on ^the^ tenth day of October in the year Eighteen
hundred and seven by virtue of a deed of manumission made
by Samuel Hopkins of said County and duly executed and
recorded   The said Jacob Jones has a scar on his left arm
about three inches above his wrist and was raised in the
aforesaid county   In Testimony whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed the seal of my office this
tenth day of October in the year Eighteen hundred
and seven
